The Hawaiian word for sea turtle is "honu," which is a sacred creature to the Hawaiian people and a symbol of happiness and prosperity.
Here in the waters around Okinawa, sea turtles live and are believed to be associated with longevity and good fortune, as legend has it that they live for 10,000 years. We feel a connection to the "kame" in the names of the elderly in Okinawa and decided to name our company Care Taxi HONU in hopes of bringing happiness and prosperity through our nursing care support.
